FaZe Banks

Ricky Banks, also known as FaZe Banks, is the Director of FaZe, as well as a very popular content creator for the clan. He started his YouTube channel in 2011 with uploading Call of Duty montage clips. Since these were new and interesting to the gaming community at the time, all of his videos blew up and he was gaining subscribers rapidly. A month after he joined FaZe Clan, he gained 100,000 subscribers, and today has 4.5 million subscribers.

Relationship with Alissa Violet

Alissa Violet, Vine and Instagram star, is FaZe Banks girlfriend of one year. The couple met after her breakup with another Youtuber, Jake Paul. Alissa came to Bank’s mansion to record a diss track with Ricegum, and the two were inseparable once they met. They have two dogs, and English Bulldog, and a French Bulldog, who are included in all of their vlogs. Bank’s and Alissa compliment each other perfectly and always help one another out with content ideas.

Faze house

Starting off his FaZe Clan career, Banks moved into the FaZe gaming house in Long Island, New York with some other members who created Youtube videos. Here, they helped each other film and edit videos, as well as contribute to making large business decisions for the team. Some of the members living in the house included FaZe Rain, Teeqo, Blaziken, Apex, Temperrr, and Adapt.

Types of Videos and Clothing Line

Although Banks started out by uploading ‘Call of Duty’ clips to Youtube, his content style has changed a lot since then. Once he moved in with some other FaZe members (now Clout House), his videos started turning into vlogs, skits, and Q&A type videos. Today, Banks uploads vlogs only when something interesting in his life happens. Now, he uses a large amount of his time to build up his newly released clothing line called Loose Change.

Career

After Banks joined FaZe, lots of Call of Duty fans looked up to him and followed his social media closely. Through his loyal fans, he was able to keep a consistent rate of growth on his channel, drawing in more viewers every day. Bank’s also makes sure that his content is unlike anyone else’s. His personality is what makes him different in the sense that he is very spontaneous and has been able to pick himself up from hard times he has had in the past. He also targets his videos for an age range that doesn’t have as many creators as others, teenagers. This way, Bank’s is able to be his true self and doesn’t have to edit out profanities or jokes that a younger audience wouldn’t understand.
